Mine is now dashing around barking at the front door, his window, and the back door in anticipation of his mama's arrival. Some whines thrown in as well.

First cup was on the sunny porch with a too affectionate dog sitting on my lap. He's a bit over 20 pounds and demands belly rubs by pulling my hand with his paw. Hard to drink my coffee.

Thinking of having cottage cheese with sliced strawberries, but undecided yet.

I imagine coffee is a rather furry experience.

I, too, I am thinking of cottage cheese—with vegetables, though. Sliced carrot, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, green and yellow peppers, and a few slices of jalapeño.

I’ll toast half of my prized jalapeño-Cheddar bagel, which is in the freezer.

Hubs gave me 3 sausages but I put 2 of them on his plate - too much for me. So glad melons are in season again!
