She is very upset about the ways of the world. Upset with politics, trade wars, racism. She is really having a hard time.

(197,202 posts)My wifes dad died election night. Not at all unexpected, a hospice nurse was there.
Shes having health problems but I finally got her a doctor. Her Dad wasnt much on medicine. Incredible guy.
This crap isnt helping.

(16,170 posts)Since November 2016, I realized that I was trying to live with anxiety and depression. Finally completely fell apart the day after Christmas 2023.
I had to pull back from news and politics (and find a wonderful therapist) (plus Prozac).
It has taken me a full year to get my head above water.
Maybe encourage her to pull back from the news and take care of herself.
Wish her well for me.
