Good news!
As of today, I'm formally 5 years NED (no evidence of disease) following my sarcoma diagnosis. I'm also almost 10 years NED following my breast cancer diagnosis. Going forward, I'll still have annual surveillance (chest x-ray for lung metastasis & physical exam for local recurrence). As to the breast cancer, they view me as having no more risk of a recurrence than if I hadn't had breast cancer in the first place.
