New season was ok, the first ones were better. IMO.

It was fun. Another one of those "I hate violent shows" that won me over with despicable villains.

It picks up with the same characters and it's set in a new city.

I started with the latest season, Primeval, and that led me back to the beginning.

The continuity of remaining in Kentucky from season to season was comprehensible.

Less so with Detroit, but still a great show with a terrific final episode if you've gotten that far!

So I think the Primeval premise is a Detroit mob but Google says it's filmed in Chicago.

For the first seasons of the original, I learned that there is an actual town of Harlan and it has a pizza parlor by the same name as used in the series: The Portal Pizza.
