I think it makes her cough. I am a fan of herbal medicinals but just like any medicine, the active ingredient can sometimes cause unwanted side effects in some cases.

Iced. With honey.
Pretty as well as tasty.
And it sounds good for you too?

One site said to monitor bp if taking hbp meds because it can cause bp to drop significantly. Same for sugar!

Wondering wth docs don't tell people who are not yet ready for meds to drink an organic form of this to manage problems.

Greed I'm sure.

Sounds like pretty much a cure all for many chronic problems, imo.

It has a very light taste and a slight diuretic effect. With the diuretic effect it might slightly help high blood pressure in some people. But if you sweeten it the extra calories might put weight on you and counteract the small blood pressure effect. Obviously by the color you can tell that it has a lot of anthocyanins which might have health benefits. As easy as it is to grow they probably don't need to use pesticides to grow it, but I would definitely look for organic since the countries where it is grown probably have very loose restrictions.
