Heartbreaking Image-Chickens have almost zero humane protections

We really do live in the Omelas (a disgusting story I came across thanks to the always awesome Nathan Robinson).

(I have no affiliation with the Humane League, beyond donating to them every month via ACE. I dislike and distrust Effective Altruism, but ACE is the exception to that rule.
Animal rights gets so little support left or right in spite of being a moral abomination that I absolutely do not blame animal rights activists for taking help where they can find it:

I had little sympathy for that whitecoatwaste stuff that was used to attack Fauci. Bs that stuff. But real AR is focused on true abominations like factory farming and ventilation shutdown.
