High-speed rail can be found around the world. Yet so far, the projects haven't tracked in the U.S., where both the public and private sectors have faced ballooning costs and delays.

Atlanta to Charlotte along 85

Charlotte to Raleigh 85 and 40

Raleigh to D.C. along 85 and 95.

Hits most of the big cities.

Provide fast commuter service to downtown if no freeway or good way to go direct.

Other city pairs the same.
