I was blessed to see a pair of blue whales as they approached a whale watching boat I was on out near the Farallon Islands with my soon to be finance. Was it the whales or the proposal on a gondola? Who knows? Anyway it was an amazing experience, and now thinking back, it was so quiet, except for the excited screams of the boat captain.
