With Trump firing the BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer, will Jerome Powell

hire her to provide the necessary numbers for The Fed to make crucial studies and decisions? And if not her, will Powell get his numbers another way?

The data are developed by hundreds of BLS staff and require BLS massive infrastructure and survey methodologies. The BLS commissioner has no ability to provide " necessary numbers" on her own.
