Flat Bridge this morning

The Rio Cobre gorge is closed to all vehicles because of TS Rafael

More than a few vehicles have ended up in this river and hundreds of enslaved people died building the bridge and the road

rain, flooding and landslides are the problem and more so in some parishes. It will rain until Thursday. Cry for the poor in this island.

deadly. Folks in the community nearby developed a diving culture to rescue people from vehicles that ended up in the river.

because a huge boulder fell off the hillside in the gorge and will have to be broken up and lots of fallen trees have also blocked the road. No one is rushing with the river in spate.
These days more people use the highway.
