U.S. lawmakers endorse 'stay' on litigation in Puerto Rico rescue

U.S. lawmakers on Wednesday endorsed a temporary hold, or 'stay', on litigation while officials hammer out a rescue for cash-strapped Puerto Rico.

A House of Representatives panel rejected a plan that would allow investor lawsuits to continue while officials try mediate disputes among creditors to the island state.
