Forget the "do not call" list ... it's a joke. I'm looking for an app that will allow me to block incoming telemarketing calls, or store those numbers so they're blocked from calling again. Anyone have anything they like? Thanks.

(146,218 posts)I never get any spam or telemarketing calls.
And if I did, I would report them.

(33,316 posts)the reviews on iTunes are not kind. But if it's working for you it's worth looking into.

(146,218 posts)They stopped almost completely when I put him on the do not call list.
I hope you find something that works for you. Few things irk me as much as stopping what I am doing to answer the phone, only to find out that it is spam or solicitation.

I only have one contact I used this way and named it CRAP. It has three phone numbers.
I wonder if there's a limit to how many numbers can be assigned to a single contact....

(1 post)Hi,
I recently downloaded an app from appstore called VIPaList. This app provide an easy call management function. It allows user to create group such as Family,Office, Friends, etc and allow to receive calls only from the A-List (Active List). The D-List (Do not Disturb) bad contacts go straight to voicemail without the phone ringing or screen illuminating.
Some of its features are,
* Group calls by category or caller to allow them to ring through, or go to voicemail
* Allow callers in a specific group to ring through only while you are in a specific geographic location
* Silence any mobile/cell calls
* Silence any landline calls
Thank You.
