Dear DU friends, help please.

How do I get out of Professional mode on Facebook. What is the option and how do I access it?
I think this mode is responsible for the huge list of contacts on my FB home page. I don't know these people.
I tried to google the answer but could not find it.
I want to go back to the old set-up.
Any ideas?
I guess I did not pay attention to the FB information.
Here I am and the whole world sees whatever I post. Will a change back get rid of this huge list of contacts?
Can you help?

Turn off professional mode

Click your profile photo in the top right corner of Facebook, then click your name.
Click Options below your cover photo.
Click Turn off professional mode.
Click Continue, then click Turn off.

edited to add - on my desktop it is the three dots on the profile picture level.
