Hello Computer Brainiacs!!!!

Hey, any advice on how I can just sign-out to DU once instead of having to do it 2 times every time I exit? It's a tad bit pissing me off. I just got a new Windows 11 computer, and it does this every sign-out and did it on my old computer as well. Thanks

Check to see if you slipped into "private mode" or your browser is somehow clearing cookies. It's in browser settings. usonian Aug 2025 #6

I don't think I've intentionally signed out of DU in 20 years except during updates or glitches.

Check this out, even if it's not 100% your case. Most of these problems involve saving cookies, or not.

And there is a little box lower, that says " remember me"
Just click that box

I guess the big thing now is remembering to "check the box." I'll be cussing myself out for the next 6 months. I come to this site 7-8 times a day. Your advice is really what I was looking for! Kudos my friend!
