Canada STEALS U.S. Position as FIFA RELOCATES World Cup Matches -- $40 Billion Economic COLLAPSE

World Cup 2026 is at risk as visa backlogs and bans choke fan travel. Sponsors redirect budgets to Toronto, Vancouver, and Mexico City, draining U.S. venues. Broadcasters pause ad buys amid uncertainty. L.A., Dallas, Miami slash forecasts as hotel taxes evaporate. Canada steals U.S. position as fifa relocates world cup matches and $40 billion economic collapse now reads like the plan in motion. As contingency maps harden, Canada steals U.S. position as fifa relocates world cup matches and $40 billion economic collapse stops sounding hypothetical. Canada’s entry rules and ready stadiums lure sponsors. Mexico’s Azteca, BBVA, and Akron absorb high-stakes fixtures. U.S. organizers face delays, higher costs and shrinking fan zones. Soft power and billions shift with every reassigned match.

it would allow all of the world's countries to give a giant disgracing FU to Trump, Republican's and his CABAL............

I would hope, that even if the World Soccer and Olympics are held here, that all the world's countries would chose not to attend in retaliation for all the extreme financial damage Trump has done to all their countries and their citizens.

THAT would be the crowning ego blow to these Powers To Be........have a giant party, only to have no one come, much like Trump's humongous Military Parade/Birthday extravaganza ??????? LOL

But reality is: the attendance will be sparse. Which foreign nationals in their right mind would want to go through all the documentation and risk to come to a soccer match with low fanfare and high prices and risk. I think after all that is evolving with the deportations and extra vetting at the border controls most fans and the team logistic crews would have to go through excessive requirements and high risk finances to attempt a normal world soccer championship in this shithole country this nation has become.

They need to really open up to female refs, judges, whatever you call those macho dudes that decides on calls.
Same goes for other sports. Female soccer players are still a curiosity in most of the soccer crazy countries. And many of those soccer ladies are incredibly good at what they do but unfortunately the money isn't there. Why male teams generate the big bucks vs. women teams is the reason so many outstanding female athletes are at a disadvantage. sad, but true.

I hope this is the start of the rest of the world not being so diplomatic and more rough handed with the ignorant orange piece of crap. He thinks he say what he wants and do what he wants because he is held in awe of everyone who beholds him. He is a joke and unfortunately there were enough Kool-Aid drinkers to vote for him. He attacks petty issues like he is a real tough guy but the serious issues he worries about the elite rich and screwing the poor and keeping his lips locked on Putin"s ass.

https://ftw.usatoday.com/story/sports/soccer/2025/06/12/fifa-considering-moving-2026-world-cup-out-us-trump/84168662007/

Is FIFA considering moving the World Cup out of U.S.? Why it’s unlikely

But anyone who expects FIFA to hold the U.S. accountable or to even consider the relocation of 2026's World Cup is setting themselves up for disappointment. FIFA's recent history shows exactly why. At face value, the deployment of U.S. troops to confront civilians should be a red line for FIFA. But there's already precedent in FIFA looking the other way on similar operations.

In the lead-up to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the Brazilian government established a Pacifying Police Unit to essentially target any suspected criminal in Rio de Janeiro’s sprawling favelas (slums). The "pacification" was a chilling misnomer as the UPP frequently engaged in violence and was accused of extrajudicial executions. Disappearances surged in the years leading up to the World Cup. Then, in March of 2014, Brazil sent in the actual military — 2,700 army soldiers — to occupy Rio's favelas through the end of July. Again, here was a country using its military as an occupying force against its own civilians, and FIFA didn't threaten Brazil's hosting status.

The 2018 World Cup saw FIFA allow Russia to host despite a government that’s known to violently quell dissent. This was before Russia launched its full-scale war in Ukraine, but Russian president Vladimir Putin had already annexed Crimea amid global outrage. Russia’s hosting privileges were also acquired through a massive bribery scandal, and Russia’s open hostility to the LGBTQ+ community had visitors concerned about their safety.

And, of course, there was the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where stadium infrastructure was built through modern-day slave labor that resulted in an estimated 6,500 deaths. FIFA ignored the global outcry about the tournament (acquired through the same corrupt means as Russia) and Qatar’s poor human rights record.

Has FIFA explored contingency plans to possibly remove games from the US? I would hope so. To not do so would be complete incompetence on their part. However, it appears things would have to get significantly worse for FIFA to actually do anything.

Their presence was actually welcomed and appreciated by the urban residents. Same was true for the Pan American Games and the Rio Olympic games. It worked.
Street Crime was down. street criminals were in check....street vendors and hawking and general pan handling was down.
Streets were calm, the residents could actually sit in street cafe's and restaurants and shop without disturbance and extra noise from excited and pushy street vendors.

I still think the current U.S. politics will be a big deterrent for many would be world cup tourists. But international media viewing and media commerce will be up. way up.
