Everett Animal Shelter to host adoption event

EVERETT — The Everett Animal Shelter will host an adoption event on Saturday, waiving adoption fees for many dogs and cats at the shelter.

The event, known as “New Year, New Beginnings,” will take place 1-4 p.m. on Saturday in the animal shelter, located at 333 Smith Island Road in Everett. About 20 dogs and 20 cats over six months of age will be available for adoption, with their adoption fees paid for by Best Friends Animal Society, a Utah-based nonprofit.

from Old Dog Haven who will arrive tomorrow. We are so excited to add this little fellow to our pack as his last refuge home. His owner passed during Christmas and Everett Animal Shelter has been taking care of him before Old Dog Haven took over. He has heart disease but is expected to do well for sometime.

There is so much need out there so please people check out the adoptions at Everett on Saturday.
