Tim Leiweke, founder of Oak View Group, pardoned by Trump
Donald Trump pardoned Oak View Group co-founder and former CEO Tim Leiweke on Tuesday.
Leiweke, who stepped down as CEO of Denver-based Oak View Group after being indicted in July, faced a single felony charge of restraining trade, relating to OVG’s bid to develop the University of Texas’ Moody Center arena in Austin.
OVG led the development of what would become Climate Pledge Arena, regarded as one of the most complicated builds in North American sports venue history.
Trump granted Leiweke a full and unconditional pardon in the case.
