The Washington State Republican Party says it polled WA-03 with Voter Science LLC, but won't show its work
Desperate for a battleground win and unwilling to learn anything from their many defeats over the last few election cycles, the Washington State Republican Party gloated this week that it has new polling showing that Democratic U.S. Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is vulnerable to a challenge from three different potential Republican challengers: declared opponent John Braun (whose campaign was confirmed early through NPIs reporting), 2022 Kent rival Heidi St. John, and party chairman Jim Walsh.
Braun and Walsh represent two different legislative districts that overlap with Washingtons 3rd; Heidi St. John is an author and activist who ran for Congress in 2022.
The party claims that the poll was conducted by Voter Science, a limited liability company describing itself as a full service political consulting firm that combines extensive experience with data, artificial intelligence, sophisticated analytics and full service agency capabilities to craft and execute winning voter outreach strategies.
In 2015, a group of Washington state grass-roots activists formed Voter Science to redefine how right-of-center candidates run for office, its about page says.
