Over a dozen elections in November have no candidates

YAKIMA, Wash. — The Yakima County Auditor has released a list of elections with no candidates.

Right now, there are three Harrah town council elections, one Zillah city council position, seats in the Union Gap and Highland school board, nearly a dozen fire district commissioner seats, and a Naches parks seat where there is an election, but nobody is running.

The auditor's office will open a special candidate filing window next week, from the eleventh through the thirteenth.

If nobody applies to a position, the incumbent will remain in the position.
