New Grocery Outlet store to open soon in South King County

California-based discount grocery retailer Grocery Outlet will open a new store in Normandy Park on Thursday, continuing its expansion across the Puget Sound region.

The 16,500-square-foot location, situated at 19805 First Ave. S., is one of two local Grocery Outlet openings scheduled for Thursday; the other is in Mountlake Terrace.

The Normandy Park site was previously occupied by a small independent grocer and has been renovated to meet current operational standards and local building codes, according to a Grocery Outlet communications representative.

Build-out for the Normandy Park location was managed by Tilton Pacific Construction, with real estate brokerage services provided by Adam Greenberg of PA Advisors, based in Kirkland.
