Election 2025: LaFleur, Carroll-Gillis out in front of Port of Anacortes race

Mary LaFleur and Terry Carroll-Gillis are leading in the race for a seat on the Port of Anacortes Board of Commissioners.

As of the first ballot count of the primary election Tuesday, LaFleur has 655 votes (about 41% of the total ballots counted) Carroll-Gillis 637 votes (about 39%), and Michael J. McClintock 306 votes (about 19%).

The two with the most votes when the primary election is certified Aug. 19 will advance to the Nov. 4 general election.

The next vote totals will be released by the Skagit County Elections Department at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
