Jeff Bezos unloads Boeing Field aircraft hangar for $10.5 million

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos sold an aircraft hangar at Boeing Field for $10.5 million, according to King County records posted Wednesday.

The buyer is listed as a Delaware limited liability company, XYZ Opsco, which appears to be linked to Zillow co-founder and former CEO Rich Barton. The entity bought the hangar from a Bezos-owned holding company, Poplar Glen LLC.

A spokesperson for Bezos did not return a request for comment, nor did representatives for Barton or Zillow.

The sale is the latest evidence of the billionaire's shrinking presence in the Pacific Northwest, where he built his business empire.
