(BIG STONE GAP, Va.) — Three corrections officers at Wallens Ridge State Prison were stabbed by inmates in a “premeditated” attack Friday, according to the Virginia Department of Corrections.

A total of five officers were injured at the prison in western Virginia during the attack, according to the department. The officers were transported for medical care outside the facility. … Three officers have been discharged, the Virginia DOC said. Two officers are in stable condition.

The DOC alleged that five of the six perpetrators are “confirmed MS-13 gang members from El Salvador, who were in this country illegally,” according to a press release provided to ABC News.

Each of the suspects have been convicted of violent crimes, including aggravated murder, first and second degree murder and rape, according to the DOC. … The other inmate involved in the attack is a confirmed member of the Sureño 13 gang and from the U.S., serving a sentence for second degree murder.

The Wiki link says Wallens Ridge is identical to the Red Onion in Pound.
I think the level of punishment is in degrees ending in solitary.

These are the people that should be sent to El Salvador. Not Dads who are working and providing for their family. Not gay hairdressers. Why are American tax payers paying for immigrants, legal or not, that have not committed any crimes to be sent to prison? This administration is, without a doubt the most incompetent that I've ever witnessed.

The inmates there were convicted of committing state offenses.

I don’t see where Trump was involved.

And good afternoon.

And apparently not very well is (see comment 8 and 9 ) why are we sending immigrants with no criminal history to concentration camps. When their are bigger fish to fry. I'm sure if two dolls donny put in just a little effort he could get those big bad MS13 people out of even state prisons and send them to El Salvador. But as usual with the lazy fat fuck he takes the easy way.

the place to start with deportations would be the incarcerated undocumented who are violent criminals no matter the jurisdiction. But instead, they are pulling students, families and workers off the street. So wrong.

Just returned back to their home country and set free after serving a fraction of their sentence? What would be stopping them from just sneaking back in and committing more crimes?

If this was a "supermax level 5 State prison", how on God's earth did those violent criminal inmates get their hands on objects sharp enough to stab someone with? And if the prisoners were as dangerous as they are alleged to be, wouldn't those 5 Officers be dead? And if these were those deadly MS-13 or other gang members, would they be permitted out of their cells to roam the general population? Maybe the VADOC director Dotson is yelling because the Trump ICE people aren't deporting MS-13 convicted prisoners in state (and Fed) prisons to the El Salvador gulag?

I think this news came out before it's time. Too many questions.
