City of Beaumont to host town hall meetings to discuss bond election

The city of Beaumont will host town hall meetings over the next month to discuss the general obligation bond election.

Meetings will be held in each ward, as well as one for the entire city.

City staff members want to speak with locals about the $264 million bond. The meetings will be held from late September to mid-October.

Ward I - Sept. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lakeside Center
Ward II - Sept. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rogers Park Community Center
Ward III - Sept. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John Paul Davis Community Center
Ward IV - Sept. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alice Keith Park Community Center
Citywide - Oct. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Event Centre
