Ken Paxton, who is running for US Senate, is urging schools to say the Lords Prayer as a Republican law goes into effect

Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general running for US Senate, has long believed in school prayer. Now, hes prescribing precisely what type of prayer he wants the states 6 million public school students to recite.
In Texas classrooms, we want the Word of God opened, the Ten Commandments displayed, and prayers lifted up, Paxton said in a statement on Tuesday, encouraging students to say the Lords Prayer, as taught by Jesus Christ.
They have no respect for other faiths. And in fact, that includes a lot of Christians who dont agree with this far-right version of Christianity. Theyre trying to indoctrinate children into this agenda and its outrageous, and its breaking one of the most important constitutional principles we have in this country with the first amendment and the separation of church and state.

who will stand up and say he will support the bill - if they add (and vote for) his amendment to the bill that will:
1. Set aside two 30-minute periods for Muslim prayer every day in every school.
2. Provide a space in those schools for students to pray 2x a day.
3. Provide all the Muslim prayer rugs.
4. Demand - AND FUND - the construction of facilities (plural) for the required pre-prayer purification (washing) ritual.
5. And for the other assorted religious sects out there: provide - at state expense - live chickens, animal entrails, venomous snakes, incense, candles, temple bells, camphor, and of course - healing gems and crystals.
Do ALL THAT and maybe get my vote.
DONT and you prove to the world that this is you (and the Republican Party) trying to impose your religious beliefs on other peoples children.
