Arp ISD board approves call for bond election
ARP, Texas (KLTV) - The Arp ISD Board of Trustees has approved a call for two propositions for a bond election.
Proposition A is a $4.95 million proposal for facility and transportation additions and upgrades. That includes construction of new classrooms at the junior high campus, safety upgrades at all campuses, renovations at elementary and high school campuses and new school buses.
Proposition B is a $4.95 million proposal for a multipurpose facility for community and district use.
In a letter to voters, the district stated the bond will not result in a tax rate hike.
