There are some house in my neighborhood who are still without power. I can hear a generator running a block or so from my home.

(229 posts)One is in the downtown area without power. The other who is in Katy, said that they didn't flood, but that the winds had caused a lot of damage.

(166,468 posts)No flooding in my area but there are still people nearby without power. I saw a good number of fences down going through the neighborhood yesterday (our rescue husky mixed escape and with AT&T down, the GPS did not work). There are ton of tree branches down.

I can't figure out how to add pics, but if you look up Brazoria County's facebook page & scroll down he was there yesterday. I see he was also whale watching somewhere, so he must have high-tailed it back here.
