SPOTLIGHT RACE: Dante Pittman for NC-HD24

I'm truly honored to serve as your Representative for House District 24 in Wilson and Nash Counties. Wilson County is my home, and my local family ties go back generations. After graduating from Wilson County Schools, I went on to college at UNC-Chapel Hill. Public schools taught me the value of public service, and I know I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of dedicated educators.

After graduation, I returned home to serve the community that raised me and served on a variety of local non-profit and public service boards. In 2024, I ran for office, and our community made history. Together, we broke the Republican supermajority, restoring a critical check on extreme policies that were hurting working families. That victory showed what’s possible when we organize and turn out.

As your representative, I strive to be a bridge builder and a problem solver. I am dedicated to making life easier for the people of eastern North Carolina. I’m working to deliver economic opportunity, strong public schools, expanded healthcare access, and lower healthcare costs so families in our part of the state can prosper.
