Gen Z invades Bemelman's Bar in the Carlyle Hotel, NYC

Social media has suddenly made famous to 20 year olds one of NYC's fabled watering holes. Now Bemelman's Bar has an hour long wait, a gruff bouncer and skads of young people who order funny drinks.
'Where are all the hookers?' asks one old time customer who was used to a certain type of clientele.

There is a limited supply of martinis in Manhattan. Gen Z is drinking more than their share.
