Assemblywoman-elect endorses Jabbour in Hoboken mayoral runoff

Assemblywoman-elect Katie Brennan on Monday endorsed Hoboken Councilwoman Emily Jabbour in the runoff mayoral election in Hoboken.

Brennan will represent the 32nd legislative district, which includes Hoboken and parts of Jersey City, along with outgoing Hoboken Mayor and Assemblyman-elect Ravi Bhalla, next year. Jabbour faces Councilman Michael Russo in the Dec. 2 runoff.

“I know Emily has the leadership and the executive experience to get things done for Hoboken,” Brennan said. “Hoboken has two choices on December 2nd and there is an obvious pick; vote Emily Jabbour for affordability, transparency, and great leadership.”

Brennan won a crowded primary against slates of opponents that were backed by Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and the Hudson County Democratic Organization.
