MS-SD45: Senate candidates DuPree (D), Rush (R) meet with Forrest County residents just over a month before Nov. 4
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - There’s a little over a month left until the special election for Mississippi Senate District 45.
Candidates Johnny DuPree and Anna Rush were in Rawls Springs Monday discussing issues impacting the community.
Dupree, a Democrat, has an extensive background in politics, including several terms as mayor of Hattiesburg.
He said he decided to run to give the Legislature a new perspective.
