Mississippi MOVE rolls out rideshare service for 2025 Election Day

ACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Mississippi MOVE will roll out its Roll2ThePolls rideshare service for the 2025 Municipal General Election Day, which will be held June 3.

This free service is open to all voters, no matter their background or political affiliation. Booking is open, and riders can call at 662-205-6683 or use the booking tool on the Mississippi MOVE website.

“Mississippi MOVE is committed to civic empowerment—through engagement, education, and action,” said Sabir Abdul-Haqq, MOVE Communications & Pine Belt Field Organizer. “Voters struggling with transportation can rely on this service for a free, safe, and convenient ride to the polls and back, eliminating obstacles to their participation in the democratic process.”
