You don't win on the first round unless you get at least 51%. If no candidate gets that majority then an “instant runoff” second round takes place where the candidate with the fewest first-choice votes is removed, and these ballots now count for those voters’ second choices. This process continues until one candidate reaches a majority and wins.

We have ranked choice voting. Fateh has a very good chance of winning. If the rank three against Frey movement holds, Fateh will be the next Mayor.

I ranked Fateh second, so my vote will go to him.
