I was schmoozing with Keith Ellison as well as Steve Simon. They both mentioned to me they too saw the article and the photo.

I met Keith in 2005 much at the same time I met Tim Walz when they both began their runs for Congress. It is so humbling of these men who are so approchable and grounded. They are true servants of the people.

The Wellstone button will be 20 years old come October. I know Paul would be proud of what we are achieving this weekend.

We have a great deep bench and they will need ALL Minnesotans to vote BLUE in November. Knock on doors, phone banking, getting the message out to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors.

We must work TOGETHER.

I did some volunteer work for the Wellstone, later Mondale campaign.

Still such a heartbreaking loss.
