TOWN ELECTION SEASON IN FULL SWING

There are four potential candidates so far for the May 17 town election.

Incumbent Paul Grady, Jr. and Julie Rollins have pulled nomination papers for select board; incumbent Craig MacLellan for school committee; and Robert Jackson for housing authority.

Tom Callahan’s planning board seat, which expires this year, is open following his recent resignation.

The deadline for submitting completed nomination papers — which are available in the town clerk’s office –is Friday, April 11, at 5 p.m.

Citizens who take out nomination papers become official candidates once their papers are returned and certified.
