Early voting begins for Nov. 15 election in New Orleans, nearby parishes

NEW ORLEANS — Early voting for the Nov. 15 Open General/Orleans Municipal Parochial General election begins Saturday, Nov. 1, and runs through Nov. 8, except for Sunday, Nov. 2.

Several key races are on the ballot in New Orleans, including runoffs for Clerk of Court and City Council Districts A and E. Voters in nearby parishes will also decide on millages in Jefferson, St. Bernard, Lafourche, Terrebonne, St. John the Baptist and Tangipahoa parishes.

Polls are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for early voting.
