https://blogforiowa.com/2026/06/17/iowa-should-reject-the-koch-brothers-candidate/Great short post by Trish Nelson at blogforiowa.com reminds us that the Koch brother(s) have ownedIowa over the years and that Zach Lahn is neck deep into being a Koch owned candidate.
Great video by Zachary Oren Smith. Also a clip of Joe Bolckom calling out their "Americans for Prosperity" political action committee. Lahn was an operative for AfP.
And don't forget that phoney Joni is a subsidiary of Koch Brothers.

(2,301 posts)I cannot provide a source, but it was during the time Harry Reid was in the senate. Reid occasionally commented on the political machinations of the Koch brothers.
My memory (the basic idea): A reporter asked one of the Koch brothers how much money he wanted to acquire. The answer was "All of it."
I hope Iowans will reject anyone and anything political that is supported or promoted by a Koch.

(8,146 posts)common way to fight old man Koch every single day of his life, I heartily agree. Many Kansans, if they knew the facts, would empathize with the people of IOWA. I hate to say it, but that is one branch of humans which never should have been allowed to procreate! Nothing but ill towards the public has come from this family. I haven't been able to find one true, redeeming character.

(53,497 posts)About an hour later, Iowa GOP staffer Josie Albrecht called to tell me she saw I was on the list for credentials and wanted to let me know "That's not going to happen," so I wouldn't waste my time going there on Saturday. When I asked why, she said, "you know the reason."
What did they think I was going to do at their convention?
