Laura Belin's story is far more complete than the short reports on the news stations, and the Des Moines Register has a paywall, so this is appreciated.

Judging just from the pictures accompanying the report on KWWL's broadcast tonight, it looks like he actually got out and spent time in the schools, more than Cedar Fall's superintendent does, anyway.

I do think, however, that the Des Moines School Board is actively looking for the bus to throw him under. I am certain his employment doesn't survive the weekend. I would be very surprised if I am wrong.

This is.a bizarre story.

On edit: I have done some more reading and I don't have a whole of sympathy at the moment for Dr. Roberts. Someone royally screwed up Dr. Robert's background check.

A brief recap: He claims he grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. but documentation shows that he came to the U.S. in 1999 in his late 20's on an F-1 student visa. Both this things can't be true.
