Latah County election officials report good voter turnout for Tuesday's primary

Primary voting in Moscow drew slightly more voters than previous comparable elections.

Turnout reached 35% for Tuesday’s election.

Latah County Auditor Julie Fry said she had expected more voters due to the money spent on this year’s campaigns. The turnout was slightly lower than the city of Moscow elections held in November, which drew approximately 1,000 more voters.

However, it still outpaced the last equivalent election in 2022, which only had 29% voter turnout.
