Hawai'i: we are getting our asses kicked for the last seems like forever.

Then the sun peeks out! Joy! Light, warmth, life as we know it!

And then the sky grows dark again and the thunder rolls in again and it starts raining boulders again, sometimes literally.

It was not like this when I was growing up. (That's my Elementary School in the Mānoa story)

Thank goodness climate change is such a hoax, right? Evidently we now have monsoon season instead of rainy season.

And the Lolo Republicans on their Facebook page Stolen Stuff Hawaii wonder if this is due to chemtrails and gov't rain seeding.
Aiysoos matayose!!!!

Our lanai has to be replaced now because of all the wet, but we are not flooded and we have a generator. The days are mostly wet and dark, though. The whole world is breaking records.

also- yes, true.

Only because the rain bombs decided to spare our particular neighborhood I'm not looking at rubble like my beautiful community folks. You stay dry and warm pandr32.

I never understood why they sold snow shovels at the hardware stores sometimes and now I do know why. Mud is why.

Adding to my emergency kit: knee-high rubber boots, Matt, knife with extra blades, heavy duty, construction grade, Rubbish bags, and plenty of them.

Assorted other kinds of shovels good for digging mud

It is during these kind of events that we see loving action in our neighborhoods all over the islands. Remember the boat brigades coming to Maui from Moloka'i after the fires? We've got that kind of thing rolling now, but on land.

I don't know what the governor is saying or doing if anything I'm sure he's doing his best but the right wingers are out in full force bitching about whatever he isn't doing as if he could get us Fema money out of that maladministration.

Brendan Awa, a pretty showboat R is using this to shame our outstanding cd2 Rep Jill Tokuda.
