GA-HD121: Advance voting for December special election now open

Citizens in Georgia House District 121 can start voting early for December’s 2025 special election.

This special election aims to fill the position vacated by Representative Marcus Wiedower, who announced his resignation back in October.

People who live in parts of Athens-Clarke County or Oconee County can begin advance voting. Voters can cast their ballots at the Athens-Clarke County Government Elections Office on November 17 through December 5 or at the ACC Tennis Center from December 1 to December 5. Voters who wish to vote on an absentee ballot must make a request from the ACC Elections Office by Wednesday, November 26.

Voters can also cast their ballots on Election Day. Polls will be open on Tuesday, December 9 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. If voters are uncertain if they live in Georgia House District 121, they can call the ACC Government Elections Office at 706-613-3150.
