Since the Voting Rights Act flipped the parties in the Deep South in 1965 no Democratic candidate for president has garnered more than 45% in Lee County. It’s heavily red and fucking racist as hell. Oh and religious right winged too.

2. Florida's 19th is one of the reddest (R+13) congressional districts in the state. Democrats don't do well there.

Maybe the current anti-Trump sentiment will help turn things around, but I doubt it.

this country will be pleasantly surprised as to the Democrat outcome in November.

People cannot hide his shit anymore. It's time for revenge and undo all this corruption. I think people realize this and will show up in record numbers, I personally expect many upsets, in our favor.

Gotta have faith. Everyone must do their job. This shit has to stop.

6. Contact the Democratic Party of Lee County, at https://leecountydems.org. They should have candidate info by now.

Also, contact the Lee County Supervisor of Elections to change voter info if you've moved or haven't voted in Florida in the past two years. Also, the Lee County League of Women Voters should have (non-partisan) information on candidates. Make your voice count.

If you can, volunteer at the Dem Party of Lee Co, and get to know folks there. Committed volunteers will probably be familiar with local candidates, and have formed their opinions by now. Worth a listen for sure.

I will. I was just checking today thinking the candidates were set only to find the primary wasn’t until the end of August. Should be an interesting election
