This man is the son and namesake of Rodney Mims Cook, Sr., who was a rare racial liberal in 1960s Atlanta. If you've read WHITE FLIGHT, he was one of the leading voices against the Peyton Wall and one of the few legislators to back seating Julian Bond.
Now his son is building a monument to a racist
