In case you haven't heard, this is the Frances Perkins Building, the main building housing the Department of Labor. It is Washington DC. This is the south side of the building. It faces Constitution Avenue. The roof is open, or at least it used to be. There is a drop dead view of the west front of the Capitol from the roof.
On clear days, like today, you can see the "football goal posts" antenna of WJFK in Merrifield VA. Way in the distance, you can see planes coming in from the south on their final approach to Dulles Airport, in Stering VA.
With a railroad scanner, you can hear the defect detector at milepost 106.4 on the old RF&P.

For more pictures, Google "old washington church site of frances perkins building."
Here's a picture of the north side of the building, taken from D Street NW, looking east-southeast at sunset. This is where the statue of Albert Pike stood.
The site used to occupied by Trinity Episcopal Church. You can how close to the Capitol the FPB is. This view is looking to the southeast.
