I love old time gangster films

Godfather, Goodfellas, of course,
Im binging now, Boardwalk Empire, on max, made in the early 90s.
Im on season 5 , what a show! I can't turn it off.
Might even miss my Hawks today

James Cagney and Edward G. Robinson were the first actors I thought of when the subject of ‘old-time gangster movies’ came up.

Edward G. Robinson were in old time gangster movies, not Al Pacino or Robert De Niro.

I never got to watch TV much, until LilBit and MrsK passed.
Im actually moving backwards in tv years.

I have never been a big gangster movie fan but I stumbled over one on an oldies movie channel -- Johnny Eager

Robert Taylor, Lana Turner, and Patricia Dane were so good in it. The whole cast really.

It hooked me
