She wasn't there today, and I missed her. Such is life.

How are you doing?

I am doing OK. I was in an auto accident a couple of weeks ago, and I do have some pain from that. It will pass!

I so admire your trademark style, filling the frame with texture and color, so the flake of pastry is deliciously light and crisp, the fruit is juicy, the custards are creamy. I especially appreciate the Bibb lettuce in sun and shadow. Thank heavens I scored some gorgeously fragrant strawberries and beautiful asparagus and lettuce ar my market today, so I am not overcome by envy this time!

I wonder what those bundles of greens are. Some kind of herb?

The bundles look rather like dandelion leaves to my eyes, but I'm guessing! I loved their textures.
