Passau photos

Here are some pictures of Passau. It ia located at the confluence of the Danube (Danau), Inn, and Ilz. I does get some flooding historically. The last big one was 2013. !0 meters above normal.

I took another right after the cyclist went out of the frame but I liked this one better.
As for the flowers, we were resting on a bench overlooking the river when I looked around and saw the flowers.

If there's a similar building on the other side of the river, they probably stretched a chain across the river at that point to stop barges until they paid a toll, then lowered the chain by means of a windlass.

I didn't get to be close enough to see if they had signs about its history. But that makes sense.
