(5,545 posts)Then the next picture seems to be a gomphrena, frequently used for dried flowers. And the bottom picture is a dianthus variety, related to carnations.

I hadn't even noticed the reflection on the paramedic van! Some days my brain's not too functional.

Your photos are all beautiful as always. I was also struck by the reflections in the shiny red fire trucks.

I can remember growing bean sprouts when it was all the rage, decades ago. I used to make my own yogurt too!
No time for such doings now.
As to the fire trucks, I hadn't even noticed the reflections! Diamond_Dog brought it to my attention, and then I saw them!

(6,474 posts)I am so old I remember the first time I tasted yogurt, when I was 13 or so, and my eldest sister brought some back from her hippie college.
I make my own kefir these days, since its much cheaper than buying it.
