Zomby Woof

Barking spiders, oh my! This is the same arachnid featured in my "Swift crab spider" post. Using a jelly jar, I collected the tiny critter (the body's about 1/8" long) from one of my flowerbeds this morning. I released the spider to its web after taking photos. The Zomby Woof is a monster in the eponymous song by Frank Zappa. Woof woof.

His glowing eyes make him look evil.

Your post title startled me for a moment, because there used to be a member of DU who went by that name. He was ultimately banned.

The spider's eyes are menacing, but I think you'll agree that evil is an attribute unique to humans.

I remember seeing that screen name. The member was likely a fan of Frank Zappa's music.
