Not sure what these are, but they looked interesting . . .
A closeup of the above; these are prettier!

And finally, some roses!

(155,560 posts)Unique is certainly the word for those 2 photos! I stared at the flowers for a few minutes, trying to decide what they are, and should I take a photo of these exotic flowers?
Well, I still don't know what they are, but I did decide to get a picture!

(24,594 posts)Lovely photos, Miss Peggy, and I admit I clicked on for the berries n pasties youve spoiled us with!

(155,560 posts)This market usually has white roses. These looked different to my eye.
This market doesn't usually have the berries n pastries that I see on Tuesdays. I will fetch one from some other day, so you can continue to be spoiled!

Hope this helps!

(4,512 posts)They are denser than roses and have frilly petals. They are beautiful and interesting. The photos are incredibly good. Thanks for posting them, Peggy.

(13,949 posts)I think these could be Lisianthus sometimes called Texas blue bells. A guess. (Mr. Fallout is a plantsman)

(155,560 posts)How very cool to be married to a plantsman! Texas Blue Bells. I visited Texas once, but I don't think I saw these flowers.
However, it IS a big state and there are lots of flowers!

(449 posts)I think your mystery flowers are called
Prairie gentian or Lisiathus.
Rose like bloom that has a long vase life.
